Stephens College is a private women's college in Columbia, Missouri, founded in 1833 as the Columbia Female Academy. It is described as the second-oldest women's educational establishment in the United States that remains a women's college, and its campus includes the Stephens College South Campus Historic District; its Drama Department was notably associated with actress Maude Adams from 1937 to 1943.
