Mills College at Northeastern University is located in Oakland, California, and is part of Northeastern University's global university system. Founded as the Young Ladies Seminary in 1852, it was renamed Mills College in 1885, relocated to Oakland in 1871, became the second women's college west of the Rockies, and joined Northeastern University in 2022.
