Morris Brown College is a private Methodist historically Black liberal arts college in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 1881. Established on January 5 of that year, it was the first educational institution in Georgia owned and operated entirely by African Americans; after a period without accreditation, it is currently accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.
