Midway University is a private Christian university in Midway, Kentucky, related by covenant to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Founded in 1847 as an orphan school for female students, it later developed through high-school and junior-college stages into a four-year women's college, became a university in 2015, and became fully coeducational in 2016; it offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees.
