Lincoln University is a public university in New Zealand, founded in 1878 and made independent of the University of Canterbury in 1990. Its campus occupies 50 hectares near Lincoln, Canterbury, about 15 km from Christchurch, and the institution is the oldest agricultural teaching institution in the Southern Hemisphere and a member of the Euroleague for Life Sciences.
