Duquesne University is a private Catholic research university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, founded in 1878 by members of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit. It offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs through ten schools and is classified as a Carnegie Research 2 institution. Its athletic teams compete in NCAA Division I, principally in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
