Dickinson College is a private liberal arts college in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, United States. Established in 1773 as Carlisle Grammar School and chartered in 1783, it was founded by Benjamin Rush and named for John Dickinson and his wife, Mary Norris Dickinson.
