The DePauw University Delta Zeta discrimination controversy took place in late 2006 after The New York Times reported allegations that Delta Zeta's national leadership had deactivated members of the sorority's DePauw chapter based on their perceived attractiveness. The controversy drew national attention, led to the chapter's closure, and prompted various legal actions.
