Daemen University is a private university in Amherst, New York, United States, founded in 1947 as a Catholic institution by the Sisters of St. Francis. Formerly known as Daemen College and Rosary Hill College, it became nonsectarian and was renamed Daemen University in 2022 after approval by the New York State Board of Regents.
