Ave Maria University is a private Catholic university located in Ave Maria, Florida, United States. Founded by philanthropist and entrepreneur Tom Monaghan, it traces its origins to Ave Maria College, established in 1998 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and was reestablished in 2007 after an interim campus in Naples, Florida, opened in 2003.
