University of Białystok

The Faculty of Law at the University of Białystok is an academic and teaching unit of the University of Białystok in Białystok, Poland. It was established on 27 June 1990 through the transformation of the Institute of Law within the Białystok branch of the University of Warsaw, and became part of the University of Białystok on 19 June 1997. The faculty has been authorized to award doctoral degrees in law since 1994 and habilitation degrees in law since 1997, and it participates in an international research network on legal and medical aspects of human health that includes the University of Cambridge.
