Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences

Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences is a public university in Wrocław, Poland, established as an independent institution in 1951 and formerly known as the Agricultural University and Agricultural Academy in Wrocław. It provides education and conducts research in food, environmental, and veterinary sciences. In the 2020 Perspektywy ranking, it placed second among Poland’s natural sciences and agricultural universities and 25th among all universities in the country; its geodesy and cartography and food science programmes were also rated the best in Poland. The university has additionally appeared in the international Shanghai Ranking for food science and technology, veterinary science, and chemical engineering.
