University of Forestry

The University of Forestry is a state university in Sofia, Bulgaria, with six faculties and 30 departments. For more than 90 years, it has provided education in forestry, forest management, landscape architecture and wood processing, later expanding its fields to include ecology, agronomy, veterinary medicine and business management. The university operates research forests near Yundola and Barzia and a training and experimental field station in Sofia’s Vrazhdebna suburb.
