University of Oslo

The University of Oslo is a public research university in Oslo, Norway, established in 1811 as the Royal Frederick University. It is the oldest university in Norway and was the country's only university until the University of Bergen was founded in 1946. The university has approximately 27,700 students and around 6,000 employees, with its original campus in central Oslo and most other faculties at Blindern.
