University of the Basque Country

The University of the Basque Country is a public university of Spain's Basque Autonomous Community and a successor to the University of Bilbao. It developed from faculties established in the 1950s and 1960s, later incorporating additional schools and growing into a network of 30 centers. Its campuses are located across Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa, and Alava, and it carries out 90% of the basic research conducted in the Basque Country.
