University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a public university in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the capital of Gran Canaria, Spain. Established in 1989 through the University Reorganization Act, it comprises five campuses, including four on Gran Canaria and one on Lanzarote. The university has a significant community of international students and was the first university in the Canary Islands, and among the first in Spain, to receive Erasmus students.
