Tampere University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1996, is a university of applied sciences in Finland's Pirkanmaa region. Its main campus is in Tampere, about 3 kilometres from the city centre, and it also has a smaller Mediapolis campus focused on Media and Arts education. The institution merged with the Pirkanmaa University of Applied Sciences in 2010 and, together with Tampere University, forms the Tampere higher education community.
