Marnix Academy, University for Teacher Education

Marnix Academy is an independent, specialized university of applied sciences for education professionals in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Established in 1984, it developed from the merger of three Utrecht-based teacher-training institutions whose histories extended 130 years further back. The academy focuses on primary teacher education and also offers an Associate degree in Educational and Childcare Professional studies, postgraduate and master's programmes, and further professional development for education staff and leaders.
