Savonia University of Applied Sciences

Savonia University of Applied Sciences is a Finnish higher-education institution owned by local municipalities, with locations in Kuopio, Iisalmi, and Varkaus. Its origins include local design, engineering, commerce, and public health schools established from 1884 onward; it gained permanent status in 1998 and adopted its current name in 2004. Savonia offers bachelor's and master's programmes, with engineering and business among its largest fields of education.
