Kielce University of Technology

Kielce University of Technology, also known as Politechnika Świętokrzyska, is a relatively young institution in Kielce, Poland, whose higher-education traditions date to the Mining Academy founded by Stanisław Staszic in 1816. Higher education returned to Kielce in 1965 with the establishment of the Kielce-Radom Evening Higher Engineering School, which became the university in 1974. The university has five faculties and offers courses in seven fields of study, with doctoral degrees available in several engineering disciplines.
