The Norwegian University of Science and Technology

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is a public research university headquartered in Trondheim, Norway, with regional campuses in Gjøvik and Ålesund. Established in 1996 through the merger of the former University of Trondheim and other university-level institutions, it traces its roots to 1760. NTNU has national responsibility for education and research in engineering and technology, and its academic offerings also include medicine, psychology, social sciences, the arts, teacher education, architecture, and fine art.
