The Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences is a university of technology in Hungary, headquartered in Gödöllő, about 30 kilometres from Budapest, with additional campuses in Budapest, Békéscsaba, Gyula, Jászberény, and Szarvas. Established in 2000 through the merger of several previously independent institutions, it includes a predecessor whose history dates to the former University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, founded in 1787.
