Jade University of Applied Sciences is a public university in Lower Saxony, Germany, with campuses in Wilhelmshaven, Oldenburg, and Elsfleth. Founded in 2009 as the successor to the Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven, it was led initially by founding president Elmar Schreiber. The university takes its name from the Jade river and has around 6,700 students.
