Located in Ortaköy in the Beşiktaş district on Istanbul’s European side, it is part of the Galatasaray Community alongside Galatasaray High School and Galatasaray Sports Club. The university occupies the former Feriye Palace, a coastal summer palace on the Bosphorus built in 1871.
