Eötvös Loránd University

Eötvös Loránd University is a public research university in Budapest, Hungary, founded in 1635. It is the country's longest continuously operating university, with almost 30,000 students organized into nine faculties and research institutes in Budapest and along the Danube. The university is affiliated with seven Nobel laureates and received its current name in 1950 after physicist Baron Loránd Eötvös.
