La Cambre, formally the École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre, is a visual arts school founded by Henry van de Velde in Brussels in 1926. Established as the Institut supérieur des Arts décoratifs, it took its later name from the Abbey of La Cambre, where it was based. In 1980, it was divided into ENSAV and the Institut supérieur d’Architecture de la Communauté française de Belgique; ENSAV remains housed at the abbey and belongs to the French Community of Belgium.
